Cafe Festung in Traunstein

We were looking forward to a Santa Claus dinner and wanted to support the gastronomy. Falafel burger and wedges burnt black. We threw it away. Nobody responded to our email.

Nice people, great atmosphere, always recommended for a cozy get-together. Definitely worth seeing

Built into the rock ⛰️ on which the old town center of Traunstein stands. The old city wall can still be seen above it. The rustic atmosphere fully matches the general mood. Fabulous bar🥃🥂🍹🍾🍸🍷. A loophole in every corner. Lovely concert cave🎷🎹🎸🎺🎻. Beer garden with lounge area. Old chestnut trees🌳🌱🌿. Located on the Mühlbach 🌊. Unfortunately, beer garden chairs are uncomfortable, that's also up to me, doesn't like beer garden chairs. Dining table, no menu, wonderfully clear. Two menus to combine a little. Very good😋, very cheap💶, portion not too big, just fine for me. Friendly, prompt service. There is a service called Burger🍔 to take away. It should also be noted that the Chiemgauer regional money is used here. This robs the banks of some of their power. You can park in the Au on Karl-Theodor-Platz. And you can get there directly via the Seehuberweg. There are only a few parking spaces on site.

Come as you are and be what you want. The liberal and open spirit of the fortress is something for everyone who wants to be as is.

Pub with beer garden and special atmosphere. The inside is a real vault, which simply gives the whole thing a very special atmosphere. Outside you sit in the beer garden under trees and blankets are available for later hours. The prices are in the normal range. As far as we can tell, pandemic requirements are being met. Since we didn't eat anything, I can't say anything about the quality of the food.

Cult place with special events, live bands, mottos, rustic furnishings, dance floor, table football, mixed audience, even the elderly are not looked at crookedly but are part of it, just a really cozy / cult Bavarian music pub. One of the few real ones.

I can only agree, a wonderful place in Traunstein, which I hope will continue for a long time. I don't know of any place where (in Traunstein) there is such a beautiful cultural and alternative offer. Whether as a restaurant or as a venue for various artists, simply a beautiful place.

The last bastion of culture in this slowly slumbering Traunstein. Beer good, cocktails and high-proof stuff also good. There's food, concerts and a good community. And neighbors.
